About ASC of Montana

_{ASC of Montana (ASCof MT) is an affiliate club of the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) whose objectives are}

_{to encourage and promote the breeding of purebred Australian Shepherds in such a manner as to bring their natural qualities}

_{to the highest degree attainable. We strive to educate and assist all owners of the breed to improve their knowledge of the}

_{breed and its history. We encourage ethical breeding practices and sportsmanlike competition at all dog shows and trials.}

_{_{ASC of MT conducts Conformation Shows, Stockdog Trials, Tracking tests, Obedience trials and other events under the}}

_{_{rules and regulations of ASCA. We also sponsor seminars and clinics related to dog training and handler training for}}

More about the club

A non-profit corporation founded in 1992, ASC of MT, is a statewide organization with members from Billings to Lewistown to Missoula as well as several members from out of state. We hold annual competitions in venues such as Conformation, Obedience, Tracking, and Stockdog trials. Our Cow Country Classic event is recognized as one of the premier competitions in the country and is attended by top competitors from across the US and Canada.

_Membership

You can apply for membership in our club by downloading the

membership application and sending it with appropriate fees

to the club treasurer. Instructions are on the form. Memberships

are renewed on an annual basis and run from January 1st to

December 31st or the calendar year.

We welcome members with all breeds and all breeds may compete

in our sanctioned events with the exception of conformation which is

restricted to Aussies.
